World Laboratory Animal Liberation Week raises awareness on the 20,000,000 million animals that suffer and die in U.S. laboratories each year.
These innocent victims are subjected to addictive drugs, caustic chemicals, ionizing radiation, chemical and biological weapons, electric shock, deprivation of food and/or water, psychological torture and many other horrors.
"Every year tens of thousands of animals suffer and die in laboratory tests of cosmetics and household products .... despite the fact that the test results do not help prevent or treat accidental or purposeful misuse of the products. Please join me in using your voice for those whose cries are forever sealed behind the laboratory doors." - Woody Harrelson
World Laboratory Animal Liberation Week (April 16th - 24th, 2005) is the time when activists come together to make a difference for these animals.
