Sarah is a rescue from Shellharbour pound. Lots of people pitched in to rescue Sarah, so we'd like to say thanks to the nurses at Albion Park Vet Clinic who drove Sarah to the Shellharbour Fire Station where she was dropped off so that someone else could then pick her up and take her home until we could collect her for rehoming.

Right now, Sarah is still probably wondering what is going on. A little on the timid side, we'd like to see her go to a home of experienced guinea pig owners and who will not use her for breeding. Lots of guinea pigs end up in pounds and shelters and are put to sleep because there simply aren't enough rescue facilities which house them (same with rabbits, rodents etc).

Sarah's diet consists of grains, fresh vegies (daily) and fruits (also daily) with freshly picked grass. Water is changed daily to ensure freshness.
